Eos is a tribute to the 50th anniversary of Earth Day in 2020 and as a sign of hope for the future. In Greek mythology, Eos was the Titan goddess of dawn and often described as bringing hope, rejuvenation and renewed purpose to all mortal beings as they awoke in the morning. As humankind faces a health and economic crisis, the Earth continues to be our sustenance. Eos holds her head high, with confidence that humankind will overcome this challenge. But look closer and see that Eos truly "embodies" the circle of life and the power of restoration — for Earth, nature and humankind. 
The assemblage is made of palm fronds, seed pods, broken mirror, ceramic, wood and other materials. LED lights illuminate the inside as well as behind the skirt of capiz shells.
